Terms & Conditions

A Legal Disclaimer

The information provided on this page offers general guidance on Terms & Conditions for swimming lesson services. Swim Masters recommends that you seek independent legal advice to help you understand and create terms appropriate for your specific situation. This information should not be considered legal advice or recommendations regarding your specific circumstances.

Terms & Conditions - The Basics

These Terms and Conditions ("T&C") are legally binding terms defined by Swim Masters as the swimming school and website owner. The T&C establish the legal relationship between Swim Masters and our customers, students, parents/guardians, and website visitors while they visit or engage with our services and website.

T&C should be tailored to the specific needs and nature of swimming instruction services. For Swim Masters, this includes e-commerce transactions for lesson bookings, liability considerations for water-based activities, safety protocols, and customer service policies.

These T&C provide Swim Masters the ability to protect ourselves from potential legal exposure related to swimming instruction and pool activities. However, this may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so we recommend seeking local legal advice for complete protection.

What to Include in the T&C Document

Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
